Welcome everyone to "The Prim Patch"

I have always loved the look of Prim. The last several years I've tried whatever Prim crafting projects I could find. I love workin' with wood, sewing, stitchery, really any crafts...I could work on projects all day everyday!! (If life were that easy...LOL)
I'm hoping to be able to share anything and everything Prim I can do/find with everyone.
Be sure to follow my blog to see what we can create together.

I have a few things on my blog for Sale...you can check them out here.

Watcha Workin' on Wednesday...

Jus' wanted to show ya what I've been workin' on.

If you read my earlier post...you'll remember I was workin' on my Kitchen windows/lights.

Here's the before in case you've forgotten...

Here's the after...

I finally was able to get my curtains finished. Keep in mind...I have NEVER made curtains before...and I didn't have a pattern. But, I think the curtains and lamp shades turned out Great...and have made a huge difference.

Love 'em!!

I made the curtains out of Osnaburg material. I'm not sure if I should leave them this color or if I should coffee/tea stain them.
Any suggestions??

Have a Great day!!!

  5. They look amazing Darla! I love the color, I don't think you would be able to see the gathering as well if you dyed them. That really makes them stand out. The lamps show the curtains off really well too. Great job!

  10. Darla,
The curtains look great! You did a great job on them :) I have a few curtains made of muslin. I love the simplicity of them! Some are coffee-stained, some are left alone but I love them both ways :)

  12. Thanks everyone!!!
I must say...I'm very happy with the transformation of my kitchen window. I have a kitchen door that has a nice size window in it...need to make another set of curtains to place there...not so nervous to make those now...LOL
I think I'll leave the curtains the color they are now...and in the future if I feel I need a change...might jus' coffee/tea stain them at that time.

Again...Thanks so much for your wonderful comments...I sure do appreciate them all.
    Have a wonderful prim day!!
